The Scotiabank Saddledome (formerly known as the Pengrowth Saddledome) is the main indoor arena facility in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is situated on the east end of the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede grounds. It is also known simply as the Saddledome or even the ‘Dome. The distinctive saddle-shaped roof is an inverted hyperbolic paraboloid. This original design is believed to still hold the world record for the longest spanning hyperbolic paraboloid concrete shell in the world.

On-site parking at the Stampede grounds will set you back about $10. It can get quite congested before and after larger events, especially when other events are also taking place elsewhere at the Stampede Grounds. Unless you have a parking connection, you might want to consider taking the C-Train, Calgary's Light Rail Transit (LRT).
